NNPS Prize Patrol Honors Teacher of the Year Finalists

NNPS leaders honored seven Teacher of the Year finalists during a celebratory prize patrol on Friday, May 1. With the closure of schools, teachers are working from home so the prize patrol boarded a bus and visited each honoree at their home office.
Ashley Chassard of Menchville High School, Dr. Dionne Ellis of Hidenwood Elementary School, Angela Ellsworth-Fair of Huntington Middle School, Shelby Hernandez of An Achievable Dream Academy, Tarri Jones of Crittenden Middle School, Beth Spivak of Enterprise Academy and TaNesha Hurd Williams of Carver Elementary School were selected as finalists for NNPS Teacher of the Year.
Members of the prize patrol included Superintendent Dr. George Parker, Chief of Staff Rashard Wright, Chief Academic Officer Dr. James Pohl, School Board Member Dr. Terri Best, reigning Teacher of the Year Andy Perry and Selection Committee Members Laura Fiedler and Michelle Price.
The prize patrol presented each finalist with an award plaque, a gift bag and a celebratory yard sign.
